Endocannabinoid System Research Studies
The core of the AMCANN mission is to gain further understanding of the endocannabinoid system and how it regulates physiological processes, such as mood, pain, metabolism, and immune function. While other biological systems, such as hormones and neurotransmitters, have standard lab tests to measure levels in a person, there is currently no standard lab test to assess whether someone’s ECS is functioning properly. Through scientific research with a medical and diagnostic lens, AMCANN aims to develop a standardized test for the endocannabinoid system.
About AMCANN Research’s Founder
AMCANN Research was founded by Dr. David A. Dawson, Ph.D., a biomolecular psychologist and author. Dr. Dawson’s professional career has been focused on the research of medicinal cannabis, CBGA effects, and the functioning of the endocannabinoid system. Dr. Dawson initially started his research for personal solutions, but has since worked to better educate others on the application of medicinal cannabis for a variety of ailments.
